Another dog we could only take in due to direct funding and sponsorships, we picked up the little Sassy look alike, full of mange and badly underweight. He had an owner, but we convinced them to release him to us. Already he is putting on weight and hair, and is turning into quite a little character!
Olaf's Story
Olaf had an owner, who couldn't afford to look after him when the mange set in. Thanks to donations, and now a sponsor (thanks Darcy!), he is receiving treatment for Mange, and of course is being well fed!
Olaf when rescued
Initially, in the rush of taking him in, we thought he was a female, and was named Dahlia. We noticed the obvious giveaway later, and his sponsor named him Olaf. We hope he isn't confused in later life by this initial mix-up! We don't care what he is - he is adorable!

He is doing well so far, putting weight on and playing with his favourite residents, including Shaun.
