In November 2024, we spotted a very thin dog struggling to stand near the Dauin fish market. We called her Tippi.

Tippi's Story
On 21 November 2024, we rescued Tippi, a very thin and sick looking female dog hanging around the Dauin fish market. It looked like the paws on her hind legs had rotten away, and should could not longer stand by herself.
Tests showed that she had Anaplasma and Ehrlichia, Anaemia and some kind of infection. She was slow to respond to treatment, but has become a little bolder and more active over time.

Tippi Our beautiful girl Tippi died on 1 March 2025.We found her hobbling around the side of the road with one foot hacked off. She was very thin but still incredibly feisty.
