NISMO

Nismo

Nismo was a stray that used to hang around the Nissan garage on a busy highway. We rescued him in January 2020, and when we thought he was already about 10-12 years old. He is playful with other dogs, and is affectionate when he gets to know you.

Nismo's Story

People working in the garage fed Nismo from time to time but he was extremely nervous and his mange was getting worse. When he turned up one day with a damaged leg they called us to get him.

After he was rescued, he was unsociable for a good few months, but he is now friendly with people he knows – he will allow some petting when he is in the right mood! He can be playful at times with other dogs, which is so sweet to see.

He still has a limp but there is nothing that can be done – we think it is likely the bone was broken but fused again.
He is in general good health for an old dog and rarely suffers from the skin problems a lot of the other dogs get.

Nismo

He is now unrecognisable as the poor malnourished animal that came to us!
