Picked up on the way back from an attempt to rescue another dog (sadly, too late), we rescued Hannah close to death in the middle of the road.  Painfully thin and full of mange, her transformation within a month was amazing!  She is ready for her new home with a loving family.

Hannah's Story

On the night of 24 May 2021, we went out to rescue a dog that was reported to be in distress / critical condition outside the Dumaguete Police station. Unfortunately, by the time we go there the dog had already passed away.

Fortunately for Hannah, on the way back, Rina, Dex and Rachelle came upon another forlorn soul - a little girl that was not in a good state so they picked her up and brought her to the Sanctuary.

After treating for Mange, we began to feed her up, and she began to gather strength, despite contracting Distemper which was rife at the time.  She would have surely died had we left her, so this was her only chance.

Spending all her time in Quarantine, he formed a buddy-pack with Ophelia and Noah, all rescued around the same time.

Here she is with Noah being friendly and playful with Christine.

She is still quite wary of strangers, but has become very sociable, and is a very sweet natured soul when she gets to know you!
